Notes

What did you think of the workout? Nice to have an easy one for a change. I think it has to do with equal recoveries and shorter distances which are both easier for me. It was fun and lighthearted which is what I needed since I'll be missing the race and the next workout.

How do you feel today (this means Wednesday)? Same ailments as the day before so I guess good!

What did you do yesterday for your workout (Tuesday)? 20x200's

What was your splits (or avg if you don't have them all)? 43 second average but last one was 37. I don't think we really pushed ourselves purposely because we were talking and laughing most of the time, and our recovery splits were 3 seconds faster the second half when we finally did slow to 44 second averages.

How did you feel? I felt all beat up during the warmup (calf, achilles tendon, then the knee start twitching) so I pushed it a little in the strides to shake it off. Halfway through the first lap I didn't feel a thing.

What group are you in? D

Do you think you are in the right group? Yes because I blew it at Shamrock'n, but no, not anymore. Now I think I belong in the E group and just got to show it in the races. But not based on this workout, just based what I can race at once I my head catches up.

Comments/questions: I haven't gotten used to running these paces in the races yet. It still blows my mind. It's like I need a race to prove to myself I can run a certain pace, so I can then do those paces in workouts, and then that translates to faster races, which in turn makes my training faster. I've decided to do a 5k in Rocklin two weeks before my marathon. If I can pull off a 19:59, I'll have more confidence going to Eugene.
