This run was far from easy. I didn't know what I was going to do until I started, and decided to start slow to nurse my calf and hamstring and get faster, 10:30-8:00 in 15 minute increments. For the most part I did it with a couple of swaps, but man I was dying after mile 2 and had to push through it. I felt better near the end but it was still hard and wondered what the hell was wrong with me. Then I run Thursday and ran at 5k race pace. So, thinking what happened with my 17 mile run, I'm thinking slow is bad now. At least that slow. Really nervous about my 20 this weekend.
