Quakertown doesn't have much skill/depth so we pulled some of our top runners from their main events. In the mile we swept (Quinn, Cahill, me).
1st lap started out too slow -- we knew we were going to sweep within about 20m into the race, but Connor Quinn just dropped the pace too much. We had to pick it up after about 200m (I passed and took the lead) to run a 71s 400m. Around the second lap Quinn + Cahill took the lead back and began incrementally picking it up. I lost them going into the 3rd lap.
I thought I raced fairly strong. The wind killed, and I was in a bit of no-man's-land for the last 600-700 meters, but it still was a decent time for 20+mph gusts.
