BOSTON MARATHON!!!
It was 40-45 degrees and raining the whole time, but such a great experience. I felt great from the start. Started to doubt myself miles 15-17, I was worried about fatigue creeping up on me. But then we hit the hills and I forgot about it. I think I knew from the start I wasn't going to go sub 3 with the conditions, but I'm very pleased with a 16 minute PR. Ran with Kelsey and Amy most of the way too. I think I might have fallen off if it wasn't for them. Amy was with us until maybe mile 16, Kelsey and I separated around 19? I saw my mom and Billy on Heartbreak, it was the perfect place to hear their cheers!
We started at 7:25 pace just because it was so crowded, but we dropped down to averaging 7:11 ish pace the rest of the run. I was tired those last 4 miles, but the race, the people, kept me from dying like I did in Tupelo. So much fun!
