What a race! It was as cold, windy, rainy and miserable as everyone said it would be. Actually it was worse. I wore a rain poncho the entire time and fingers and toes were soaked and numb before I even started. That made for a very weird-feeling first few miles. I felt fine pace wise and tried to be conservative and I think it paid off well. I felt good the whole time and was passing people left and right by the end. It wasn't my best time by far but I think a really solid effort given the temperature, weather and wind. I'm proud of myself!
