Notes

9xK at goal 3:00-05 pace. 2 min walk/jog recovery. 3:04, 2:57, 3:06, 3:15, 3:02, 3:02, 3:04, 3:08, 3:12. Did it in the park, based completely off GPS distance measure, which was a mistake. A workout like this is specifically focused on shorter race goals, which include 10k track at GINA, so I need to do this on a track in the future and limit effects of measurement inaccuracy, wind, snow on the ground, etc. That way I can also get intermediate splits instead of running by feel as well. An OK workout overall, but the variability was distracting. Felt like I got in a groove during many of them- just hate winter workouts wearing tons of clothes. Obviously a finicky day for me- still got some good work in- focus on the bigger picture. My left leg is loosening up a bit- got up early this morning to stretch and roll it out, so maybe I just need to keep maximizing those sources of recovery I have available.
