first 3 miles flat (one .25 hill in 3d mile)
4-5 steady uphill, steadily steeper ("highway to hell" at the top - sweet)
6-8 rolling with short steeps and drops
9-13 quick and slightly down or flat
beautiful course - could be tough on a clear warm day
no bbq :(

only 6 runners older than my age group finished ahead of me
ran with Andy until last mile; John was 6th overall, 2d in 35-39
left knee ached after mile three
faster next year after the hill
