|Why do I run:
Family history of high blood pressure & heart disease (usually at an advanced age, but still...). Plus my legs whine too much for me to sleep if I go more than a couple days without running.
|Why I started running:
I started running consistently (again, hadn't been consistent since high school) after a particularly miserable ski trip, where even a relatively short climb up to a bowl made me realize I was way out of shape even if I wasn't overweight.
