rpe 7-8+. Abs. Ran about 1.5 miles. stopped and stretched. First 12-13 miles felt ok. Then HR stayed elevated. As mentioned above rpe changed from 7 to 8+. Good run. Stretched afterwards. consumed about 270 cals from gel..Made 5 very quick stops for water...I know how to run the run portion of a half IM. I obviously, am not sure how to run longer than 1hr 45mins....There is no way I could have finished a marathon at the effort or HR i was maintaining after mile 12....
