rpe 8+...I started off too hard. My HR monitor did not work well. The HR barely worked at all. It was flashing back and forth between different screens the entire run...I just had this device replaced last mnth. I felt good after 3 miles. But who doesnt feel good after 3 miles on a run. After that point is when my HR most likely began to elevate above race effort. I was out of gas. I had a great break between bike and run. Although I could have used another 30mins to allow the calries to fully digest. I ran with a light stitch in my side. I ate a banana chocolate milk 170 cals. Muscle milk protein shake 130 cals. water and a light protein bar 100 cals. Once again, I had good nutrtion after the bike, but I could have used another 30min break. I did not take in any cals on the run. I was working through that stitch. The run is where I realized that my goals are too high...

I reset my Garmin at the beginning of the run to see if this would fix my issues. This is why I have two different run times. This data is the 2nd part of my run. Although I listed this a tempo run. It was not intended to be a tempo run, but it felt like a tempo run as I watched my pace get slower and slower.
