rpe 9. streched and worked abs. ran 1 mile stopped and stretched. ran tempo in a controlled effort. It was a hard effort but once I got into a rythm the effort got a bit easier. I could have continue the tempo 5 perhaps even 10 more minutes..And I felt like I could have gone even longer than that. Why is it that we do much more high intensity bike workouts but rarely do this type of run intensity...I guess one reason would be that it is taxing on the body...But so are progressive bike rides in this heat.

cadence 1st mile 90. once tempo started cadence stayed around 95-96.
