RPE 7.5. running with new HR zones from metabloic testing. Still not sure I am running in the correct zone for easy/maintenance/long runs...I am ok with runnng this effort and HR zones. But it is such a huge increase in effort and HR from previous easy/maintenance/long run efforts/. But we were guessing beforehand...Perhaps I still need a long transition with new HR zones. Which are about 10 beats per min faster than before metabolic testing...Kept first mile very easy before finding my HR zone of no greater than 145. Wanted to sit on a HR between 140-145. Which is still slower than metabolic testig reccommends(145-150 HR). Left calf was doing fine this week until around mile 9.5-10. Feels tight. 1 on a scale of 1-10. 1 being mild 10 being painful. But tight enough to merit another week of no intensity on the run...But still get the frequency just no tempo..
