RPE 8+. wu 500 swim with some drills

1st 500 8:08 w/ 63 sec rest 1:37 pace
2nd 500 8:05 w/ 71 sec rest 1:37 pace
3rd 500 8:03 1:36 pace
Cd 100 easy swim
This swim began to feel like some of my stronger swims of the past few mnths. I felt like I could most likely hold this effort for about 1000 m. But not sure I could hold it for a 1500m or 1.2 mile swim...Nevertheless It felt good to swim closer to where I know I can swim...Swimming is still where I can make the biggest gains both in my developement as well as making up time in a race...For example, I lost about 5 mins on my swim to the leaders at Longhorn. Thats huge...
