RPE7+. worked abs. Easy effort! Ran 1 mile stopped and stretched....Amazing how much my pace picked up with a drop of 10 degrees..Add to that point, that I usually have many HR spikes. Today I had one or two HR spikes(using 147 as my HR ceiling)...stretched at end. I did not feel the need to check my cadence..It is always the same...
I did run about 2 mins extra today. It just felt so nice outside,,,
I wonder how much above my easy effort runs will I pace in an IM marathon...?
I noticed that yesterdays bike showed a max HR of 171 whereas I usually reach 180. The heat really beats you up affecting the HR much more...Of Course I realized this. But it is still interesting to review the data and compare similair workouts with similiar effort levels with temperatures that are 20 degrees difference.
