rpe 8-8+. woke up this a.m. feeling great. my achilles and rt calf tyoically feel worse in the am first thing. Walking around throuhgout the day helps to stretch things out. But while sleeping things get a little tight in these areas. And today I woke up feeling better than I have since the small aches in these two areas began a couple weeks back. The massage helped. I have another massage on my off day this wednesday...That will really help since i have this big run tomorrow. I feel surprisingly good physically and mentally. I am ready to race where I will have my fun...I train hard so that I create an opportunity to have lots of fun for one day...Race Day...There is just nothing else i can do to prepare for my A race come race day...This is when I will be almost be my most relaxed. I will be most relaxed once the race begins...Then my brain will only focus on one thing and that is to race effectively..I do not have anymore space in my brain to think about anything else....

Oh yea I had a swim today...warm 500 easy. 4x200 pull not as easy but still comfortable. main set 3x100 on 1:40, 200 hard-ish, 3x100 on 1:40 300 hard-ish, 3x100 on 1:40 400 hard-ish. 100 cd. Had to work but still had a positive swim. Amazing how much a diference a wetsuit will make. the 1:40's were tough but with a wetsuit swimming 1:40 on race day will be easier. I am ready for the swim come race day...
