About me: 
41 yo SAHM mom of 2. Was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes about 10 years ago. Ignored it for most of that time. Have been pretty inactive my whole entire life. Finished c25k in May 2009. Started CrossFit October 2011.
Why do I run: 
It's the only exercise I've found that doesn't actually feel like exercise. I like that I can do it on my own, on my own pace, on my own time and that minimal equipment/gear is needed.
Why I started running: 
I thought it would be a good way to lose weight. Have learned that is not necessarily the case but have grown to like it anyway.
