Notes

Ran 7 miles on and around Belle Meade Boulevard. The first couple of miles were tough. My HR was staying low but my legs were just tired. They didn't want to go. Took a couple of miles to really settle into a rhythm. I was thinking about something I read the other day about running on the same side of the road all the time and decided to switch it up on some of the neighborhood roads and run on the right side. Sometimes running on the left side can bother my stride issues if the road is cambered. It exacerbates the feeling of being unbalanced. It actually felt a lot better for my stride to run on the right so I may try to balance it more. May make no difference but at this point if someone told me licking a puddle would fix my issues, I probably would.

Sometimes doing a long run with the 11.2 is nice because it mentally breaks up the run. I viewed it as a 7 mile run and then the 11.2 instead of thinking 18 which can be more daunting (and boring).
