4 very easy miles around Asheville. First run in the distance elites! Really liked them. I quit noticing the lugs about a minute in. I think sometimes on hills or when I'm tired I can start to run too much on my toes so I am making sure to watch that but I felt in these shoes that I wasn't heel striking at all which is good.

My knee was a little tight today but no pain. It actually fared really well on the downhills in the first mile.

The hills weren't too steep but they just affect me differently in Asheville. I also can't find a route that doesn't start downhill and end uphill because of where we are staying in town, so I get rolling on the first mile and then the hills start. I need to start slow and ease into it on easy runs here.
