8 miles with 10 hill blasts

I decided to risk it and do this from work around lunch time. It was still cloudy and weather.com said it was only 77. Within the first mile, the sun was coming out and it got HOT. I jogged a bit over 3 miles to the hill and did 2 strides in mile 2 and 2 in mile 3. I had to do a different hill than normal. It always feels like a huge hill and I always hate running it so I thought it'd be a good pick. I think after doing hill blasts on it that it's long but it's not as steep as the hill I use which is really short. I felt like I had to run farther and they didn't feel as hard as normal. It took a couple to figure out how far up the hill to run so my first two were a little short.

Anyway this was way better than I was expecting. I dread hill blasts sometimes but I was actually really glad to get them done early in the day despite the heat. Since I didn't do them last week maybe a less steep hill was good for transitioning back to them.
