Wasn't able to pool run today. I realized both pools at Maryland Farms are only 5 feet deep at their deepest. Arggghhhh. There was only about a foot of space in the indoor pool that was 5 feet-the rest was 3 and 4 feet deep. I just didn't even want to try to make that work.
30 minutes on the ARC trainer and 35 minutes on some other elliptical. I picked one that seemed to have the most running-like motion. It wasn't a typical looking elliptical and it looked like it'd require more work on my part.
I switched up machines to stave off boredom. On the first machine, there was some HGTV show on and I got a little distracted by that so I'm not sure I pushed as hard as I should have but I was also warming up. No TV on the second machine and I was able to push really hard. I did some workout called "Rolling Hills." On the first machine I didn't use the arms, just pumped my arms and on the second machine I used the movable arms. Got a decent workout but it's just so hard to even come close to getting the same effort as running. Also running is way more fun.
