Notes

I did 30 on the arc trainer, 30+5 minute cool down on another and then 20 on an easier one. The first one was medium effort and the second one was REALLY hard! It was a rolling hill workout and my HR definitely was up which was nice. It's so hard to achieve without running. I did an easier machine after that workout. Hill workouts on all of them because that's the best way to get a harder effort. I can go so fast on an elliptical that it sounds like I'm going to break it and my HR still doesn't feel higher than a super easy run. So hills solve both issues.

Today was the most depressing day so far to not run. It was beautiful and cool outside. I know it's for the best and I need to recover but man I wanted to be out there today.

I think I need someone to go with me to the gym and make sure I don't overdo it. My plan was to only do an hour of easy elliptical as a sort of easy/rest day but I got overzealous once I was there.

Hopefully can try a short easy run tomorrow and just see how things are feeling.
