Notes
7mph for 2 mins start, then alternate 1 min @ 7mph, 1 min @ 6mph for first 3 miles. Then rested 1/2 mile @ 6 mph, then finished last 1/2 mile alternating 7/6 mph.
cooled off walking 1/4 mile @ 4% incline, then bumped to 6% for about 1/8 mile before knees started feeling weird so backed off to 2% and finished out total of 1/2 mile walk.
Overall felt great. No foot pain, no hip pain.
When I wake in the mornings and get out of bed my feet do hurt alot, I limp for first 10 steps or so
I have been feeling this for the past week or two, but today moreso - I finally feel like I'm holding myself back on my mileage increases, instead of pushing myself. I am very cautious about injury potential and desperately seek to avoid it.
Today's 4 mile nonstop run milestone is huge for me. huge. I can remember not so long ago when the idea of running 7 minutes continuous was simply staggering.
