Great race! I made the mistake of trying to keep up with what turned out to be the winner. I stayed pretty close on his tail for the first mile and a half, and boy did he pull me! I ran the first mile in 5:02. Unfortunately I forgot to hit the lap button on my watch at miles 2 & 3 (probably from dying trying to keep up with the winner), so I don't know how my last 2 splits went, but I can tell I slowed down pretty significantly. I was still very proud of myself though, and this is a new 5k PR for me! Woot!
