Why I started running: A very dear friend was getting ready to run a 10-miler a couple of weeks after we first met. I had begun to run a little just for the exercise a few months before I met him, so when I saw his enthusiasm for racing I thought it would be fun to set a goal for myself. So, one year later, in Sept. 2005, I ran the 4-mile portion of a race while he completed the 10-mile portion. I was hooked on running from then. |
