Notes
VERY windy run. The start was directly into the wind with a temp 48. The wind speed varied from 26 mph in the protected areas to 30 mph out on the track. Paid the price too. Monday I started feeling bad and by Tuesday was a full blown head cold.
At .3 miles of all things my hat was blown off and of course the natural reaction was to go get it which I did. Someone scooped it up and gave it back to me. Stupid loss of a few seconds. Shed my wool shirt at 1.25 miles as by then I was nice and warm and I stayed that way the rest of the race. At 2.8 miles I had to stop for a rock in my shoe. At 9 miles I started walking fast recoveries the wind had done its damage by now. At 9.8 miles my Sony just stopped working. At 10.4 I got my Sony to play ONE song over and over again IF I kept hitting play. When I got home I stuck a pin in the "RESET" and it booted back up with all the songs in order. Wish I had thought of that during the race.
