First 50 miler in 8:04:11 (9:41/mi). So much fun, so very much pain. Everything I hoped for.
13th OA out of 195 finishers (27 DNF, 49 DNS)

Write up pending...
Things that went well
- ran basically the entire 50. completely unexpected.
- went out slow...maybe even too slow.
- nutrition. took calories every 30 min. ~300cal/hr
- very quick through aid stations
- only a single blister.
Where to improve
- training: more very long runs. more hills
- training on trails...the roots nearly ended this race.
- strengthen left side weakness. compensation was apparent by mile 40.
- bottle pack more than adequate for Rocky
- less pre-race carbs. more of a calorie shift than a "load"
