Notes
Lack of specific training didn't show up until after 5 miles, but that last 1.2 was pretty tough sledding. It's still a soft PR, but I'm happy with a really good workout and an age group win to boot. Scott ran with me for the first few minutes, but then slid away pretty easily and finished around 41. I ended up running the last 4 miles basically by myself. The hammy held up better than expected. Still, running a PR on tired legs isn't all bad.
Now, looking forward to next weekend's race...50k on the trails...
