9 easy, then 3 at goal race pace. I ran the first 9 a little slower than I have lately, but worked hard at maintaining the balance between working hard and staying fast and smooth the last 3. I was concerned about this workout beforehand, but I think I freaking nailed it considering I was shooting for 6:50's to finish. I felt good, was working at it good, but not straining. Great confidence building run. I need a lot more work at those speeds, but I feel good about where things are going.
Also, I set a new unofficial 5k PR to close this run at 20:59.
