Rather hot in the sun. Hit the first mile in 5:26 and it felt a little faster than I thought I could keep up, but I tried to hold it. Second mile in 5:27. Was trying to hold on over the third mile, but was starting to fade. Third mile is everso slightly uphill. You hardly notice on a training run, but with fading legs, it's just enough to slow you down a bit. Hit the split in 5:35. Final .1 in :32.
Overall I'm very pleased, but would have loved to be 3 secs faster.
