About me: I am 27 years old and I manage a small group home for severely mentally ill adults, which keeps me very busy. I used to run track and cross country in highschool, so it is very frustrating for me to run right now as I have no stamina. However I recently read the article "couch to 5k" and am very motivated to get back at it. |
Why do I run: Now, I am running for health and my figure. I also run for stress relief and the great sense of accomplishment I get from beating my personal records. |
Why I started running: I started running in high school because all my friends were doing it. I would do the least amount of work possible to stay on the team when I first started. Then I started to get really into. I liked running by myself in the woods and just zoning out. |
