Decided to go for the Big River trail to try and get some shelter from the wind, that worked ok but I didn't dress for the rain coupled with the wind and 32F temps, I needed to wear some water tight jacket and gloves. I had intended 24 miles but aborted at 8 as I was already starting to feel hypothermic plus when I got back to my car I was a bit worried that it might not be intact when I got back as someone was eyeing it after I got back. Probably just paranoid still after getting it broken in to at Nokomis.
