Trails were a bit muddy today, and got worse as the sun warmed the ground. I lost quite a bit of time from miles 12-15 on leaf covered mud. However, I didn't go into today's run with a pace goal, just wanted 3 hours on the trail. Felt good to work up the steep hills and cruise through the trails. You get a lot of different vantage points without the leaves on the trees. Probably should have taken more than 2 gels with.
