did a rally in Austin. shifter broke at beginning of ride. hilly, rough roads, and 2 of the roads had gravel. It was a technical ride. I got dehydrated bc of the road conditions and me trying to figure out how to upshift during the ride. Garmin said I avg. 18.5 but that includes riding through the horrible gravel roads where I was scared and white knuckled the whole time. road very slow on the gravel.
