Notes
This was OK but not great. Wimped out a bit after the second mile marker, obviously, ran 7:26 for the third. Probably eased off (again!) when it was clear I was neither going to improve nor diminish my position, but worth noting: Until two weeks ago, this would have been a PR. Going out harder is good for me, but I need to sustain better, obviously. Finished second in age group by 45 seconds; guy who beat me said if I lost 5 pounds, I'd be running where he is. It was warm and humid, not an ideal race morning. This this was an OK race, but nothing spectacular, nothing terrible either.
