Really disappointing run. I planned on running an up-tempo 3 miler and coming in around or under 27 minutes. The first mile was good, but I completely fell apart rounding the curve to Winter Island. I got a really bad cramp/pain in my left chest and shoulder/back as well as bad shin splint-type pains in my legs. Combine that with having to duck under the closed gate and eat up about 20-30 seconds there, I fell off pace by more than 3 minutes. I struggled through the last two miles so I could at least have the 3, but a really ineffective and worthless run.
