Very slow, very hard run. I ran this after waking up at 5pm, staying up the last two nights, sleeping through the last two days, and not eating or exercising well. Not to mention that I was up drinking all night Wednesday through Thursday morning. So suffice it to say, I had very little energy, physically or mentally, for this run. Right off the bat I felt bad like there was no way I was going to finish 4 miles let alone my scheduled 8. It also started to sprinkle as soon as I left the house and threatened to thunderstorm the entire time. But the weather held off and I gutted it out to get in the mileage. The last 2.5 miles were very tough and my legs just about gave out, forcing me to slow to a crawl and walk a few strides pretty frequently, but the bottom line is that I finished. I simply need to take better care of myself and stay on regular diet and sleep schedule so that runs like this don't become torture or even unsafe.

ps. It started to rain as soon as my Garmin beeped at the 8 mile marker.
