Plan:

5mi at goal race pace, start slow and ease into it.

Report:

I played this by ear since my upper quad muscle has been tight. After a mile warmup I started, and ran 4 miles blind. So I was happy I was at a 5:48 pace, I was wearing trainers. Felt ok, but I was definitely tight.
