Blake and Jordan paced me for the virtual monumental half marathon. Just wanted sub 1:30, but ended up 1:25:55.
Currently leading on the online leaderboard, race goes from Nov 1st-30th, so i'm hoping for bad weather the rest of the month ;)
Out and back on the monon, starting at the art center going north. Legs started feeling rubbery around mile 5 and didn't know if i was going to make it, just held on. around mile 10, i started feeling better. it also started getting hot, even though i was wearing a singlet and half tights, temp started at 54º and by the time we were done it was 70º.
Overall felt like crap since i really haven't done much leading up to this, but i'm satisfied. I just don't run like i used to. Just glad i was able to get this run in, in case i came down with covid. Gotta keep that monumental streak alive - 13 years in a row.
