I started exercising again in Sept of 06 and started running Jan 1, 07.
I love going to different events and seeing new faces and new places.
|Why do I run:
I run because it relaxes me and I find it mentally stimulating. I think back to how hard it was to actually start running and I don't ever want to go back to that again.
And really, isn't it a great feeling to feel strong?
|Why I started running:
I started to run because I was 40 years old and felt fat (190lbs) and had no energy. It was either let myself go or get my act together and do something about it.
One day I watched a video of Dick & Rick Hoyt and how Dick completed the ironman triathalon pushing his disabled son. It completely inspired me.
