Hmm, so I can do workouts in the morning!
Had two separate workouts scheduled for this week, but I'm not at the point yet where I can handle that. Decided to combine them and did 4x 1000m + 4x 200m. Was honest with my ability today and was rewarded with a successful workout!
Started out deliberately slow; first 1000m was probably closer to 15k or tempo pace, then was able to keep it at or under 6:00 pace for the rest. Likewise, first two 200s were just focused on feeling smooth and relaxed. I tried to push more on the third, and then focused solely on turnover in the last one.
