Original plan called for 5x 1000m but I wanted to really kick my own ass today so I modified it to 3x mile instead. Figured I could probably run 5:40-5:45 pace. First one was faster than expected. Recovered fairly well and ran nearly as fast on the second. Recovered a little slower and then the third one was up a long, gradual hill for the first 3/4 and my legs just would not go any faster. Was completely gassed by then.
Wore my new Endorphin Pros and I would estimate they took off 5ish seconds per mile, just based on my effort level and what I expected to see for my splits.
