First real workout of the season
Modified it about three different times on the warmup, and then one final time during. Original plan was 400-600-800-1000-800-600-400, but thought that was a little too much volume for the first workout, so changed it to a 1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1 fartlek on the roads. Then decided to try to the track anyway, but threw in a 200 at the beginning and end. Then, after I ran about 5 seconds too fast on the first 800, I cut the second one in order to avoid sabotaging the rest of the workout.
Didn't have set paces; just wanted to run hard and see what I came up with. Probably went a little too fast on every single repeat, but now I have a better guideline for where to be next time.
