Finally felt like my old self again, or should I say my younger self! It was cool but not terribly cold out so I just wore shorts and a long sleeve t. Ran out to the 2.5-ish mile Cooper-St Paul-Titus loop and did that twice. I felt really good on this run; I made sure to start off nice and easy and not get too carried away in the first 5 miles. I felt like I was maybe hitting my max around 6:0x pace, but once I shifted gears I was able to run sub-6 pretty easily (all things considered). The last two miles were tough; that was where I broke off from the loop and started running back to work, which included some decent hills and long inclines. I definitely was going into the well the last mile. Felt good to run fast though!
