Sherwood Pines 10 km Trail Race
Ran at what seemed an easy pace for the first 8 km.
HR was 150+ for most of this time & occasionally 155-160. Tried to keep it down in z2.
NB I think that the HR was higher due to adrenaline, I don't believe HR would have been a LOT lower in a training run at same pace.
From 8k onwards I started to push on a bit. I had planned to run at 5:00 / km pace & could see I was about 40 secs behind schedule.
Felt pretty good most of the way...didn't have any bad patches & didn't feel particularly tired at any point.
Recovery including jogging back to car, driving home, etc...Approx 1:50.
