Why do I run: I run because it makes me feel strong, free and confident. I feel like I can accomplish anything. Plus I love the exhilaration from a tough run. Oh and I'm still looking to lose some weight but that's not really why I run anymore. It just makes me feel good. |
Why I started running: I started running in April 2007 mainly to lose weight. I had been a runner in my teens and early twenties but stopped for reasons I can't remember. I then packed on a significant amount of weight. Since February 2007 I've lost about 75 pounds. Adding running to my workout regime helped quite a bit. |
