I'm psyched to finally be able to upload one of my trail runs in Elfin Forest to RA. Today was best run since I've been out here. And also my longest run since I've been here. The weather was overcast and perfect I would say mid 60's. I parked behind a lady who quickly jumped out of her car and went out. I guess she was stretching at the trail head because I went by her again and nodded at her. Then about 1/2 mile later she cruised past me and we chatted for a minute. Gosh I wish I could have kept up with her but no way. I went to the Lake Hodges Overlook which was awesome. I stumbled a couple times on the return descent and almost went down once but stayed upright.
