Rain, rain and then drizzle and then MORE drenching rain
Ran pretty much the way I was hoping.....was worried about going out to fast to be able come back that nice hill.....
Was 8th woman out until coming back up that hill and then passed the woman in front of me (not my age group - younger) :-) ....BUT just at the top of the hill with a side ache another younger gal passed me like I was standing still and I never caught her before the finish line. The gal I passed on the hill tried to pull me back and and ALMOST made it..BUT NOT!!! :-) BUT in the results they have her finishing ahead of me....I wondered about that in the chute if her tag got pulled before mine. :-(
I was first in my age group only because the first gal in my age group was also the overall winner. She was the 3rd overall person to come in.....according to her.
