Race a tough long - 3.17 for a 7.49 pace......I thought I started out at a 7:15 pace, but guess not looking at the Garmin.....still have to figure out pacing...That I went a lot faster that first mile. :-( The garmin was saying around 7 min and 7:15 I thought for the first mile...so I slowed down a touch...hmmmmm; still I caught up with Jennifer and passed her right before the finish. When I did that she turned on the jet engine and left me in the dirt....did not have it to catch up and pass. Cynthia took first over all woman with 22 something (she stopped and tied her shoe); Candy took second and Jennifer took 3rd.....so I had 4th women over all.....If only I had tried a bit harder. :-(
