Got there late and rushed to warmup in the cool and sprinkles; Wanted to run first part of course at 8 min miles....mostly downhill knowing that LONG hill coming back with slow me down. Took 1.5 mins off last year; won AG and was 5th woman in. 1st woman was a young teenager who was FAST she won in 39 something. Passed by 4th place woman at about the 3 mile mark and kept her in sight for the next 2 miles, lost her before the hill but on the rise before the hill.
1st in age group was a medal, candle and $50 to The Wooden Spoon. Then won a door prize of a spa package at The Edges Salon.....hair cut and style; makeup application and manicure. :-) NICE BOOTY!
