Everything hurt after this run, but the lingering ting was some pain in both knees, so I iced them before bed. This run was all about time on my feet; six hours to be exact. I walked some, especially after each loop. when I'd go to the car and get food. While running, I just consumed water, Gatorade, and shot blocks. I also had a gel for the first time, Hammer gel raspberry flavor. It was pretty good, but really sweet. Not sure if i could handle too many of them. When I went to the car, I'd grab some beef jerky (really good and salty, and a nice contrast to all the sweet stuff. also, I had a Nature Valley almond crunchy granola bar. I'm not sure I'd eat this again. It took forever to eat 9I walked while eating it), and all the chewing was making my jaw tired. I'll continue to experiment during future long runs to figure out a variety of foods that work.
